Bizarre solo album from creator of Eighties legend Klaus Nomi's "Total Eclipse"
You may not have heard of songwriter Kristian Hoffman, but over the years he's worked with dozens of people you have heard of, and he's made an album with 15 of them to prove it - & features collaborations with luminaries as diverse as Russell Mael (Sparks), Rufus Wainwright, Van Dyke Parks, Mexican Elvis impersonator El Vez, Paul Reubens (aka Pee Wee Herman), and Lydia Lunch to name but six. The result is a spectacular, operatic art rock power-pop album that refuses to take itself too seriously, crammed full of invention and emotional twists and turns.
